Just a reminder to all, we do NOT have an open campus policy. If you need to leave during the school day, we need to hear from a parent or guardian giving you permission to sign out. This dismissal should only be for important appointments or events. If you want to leave and return during the school day on a regular basis, please apply for mid-day dismissal (forms available in the Main Office). Thanks for helping us keep everyone SAFE and accounted for.

SENIOR PORTRAIT DEADLINE is coming! As seniors, you have the privilege of submitting a portrait of your choice for the yearbook. While many people choose to get their photos taken professionally, no one is required to. With the advancement of cameras (regular and on cell phones) you are certainly welcome to take your picture yourself.
Below is an abbreviated list of the most important points:
Deadline: Monday 12/2/24 - this is a hard deadline and we are unable to accept photos after this deadline.
Photo must be in color - cannot be black and white
Photo must be in portrait orientation (the long way)
Must be in jpeg format submitted via email to jsrhs.yearbook@sau24.org

Thinking ahead to graduation??? Keep in mind, you must have 35 documented hours of Community Service, Civic Engagement, or Career/College Exploration (unless you have applied for an alternative diploma). This can include things like Hunter /Boater / ATV safety course; First Aid or CPR certification, classes or courses outside JSR; job shadows, college visits and college fairs. If you have an idea for an activity speak with Mr. Emery or your School Counselor. If you are wondering how many hours you have logged already, feel free to ask in the Main Office or ask your school counselor.
We encourage both students and parents to actively participate in the senior year journey and make the most out of this memorable time. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us. Let's make this final year of high school an unforgettable and successful experience for everyone!
