Kristen Lundeen named Educational Support Professional of the Year 2024

Weare Middle School’s Kristen Lundeen Named Educational Support Professional of the Year 2024 First Award for a Paraprofessional in NH Weare, NH-April 8, 2024-Weare Middle School’s Kristen Lundeen has been named the 2024. Educational Support Professional of the Year. She will be honored with all the 2024 EDies Award recipients at The Excellence in Education Award Ceremony (EDies) at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown on June 8, 2024

This is the first time the Educational Support Professional. Honor Award has been presented. The National Education Association of New Hampshire (NEA-NH) is the sponsoring organization of the award. Kristen Lundeen is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Paraprofessional II at the Weare. Middle School. She began as a paraprofessional at WMS in 2016 and has continued as both a para and RBT at the school since earning her RBT certification in 2020. “Kristen is such a passionate and caring professional who desires the best outcome for all students in our community,” said Weare Middle School Principal Jon Barry. “It is no surprise to me or anyone at WMS that she would be chosen for and receive this honor,” Principal Barry continued.
