Students making Valentine's cards to make sure everyone feels valued at JFES.
James Faulkner Elementary School (JFES) had a happy and healthy Valentine's Day on Friday. We danced the Cupid Shuffle in the morning and participated in stations in the afternoon including getting exercise and noticing the impact on our heart rates, learning about the anatomy of the heart and how it works, making Valentine's for Veterans, and learning strategies for stress reduction to protect our emotional and physical health. The students did a great job working in multi-age groups with peers they don't often work with.
